There really isn’t much that I can say about this album that hasn’t already been said. It’s an amazingly deep, yet still accessible album that rewards repeat listens.
Stand out tracks: My Girls, Summertime Clothes, Brother Sport

About half of the songs seem like something you’d hear at an LSD fueled carnival. Not that that’s a bad thing.
Stand out tracks: Peacebone, Fireworks, Winter Wonderland

I love the (relatively) softer sounds on this album. For a band that has songs as frantic as “Peacebone” and “Summertime Clothes” it’s interesting to hear them with more sedate sound. A lot of my gripes with this album relate to how jarring some of the transitions on the album can be.
Stand out tracks: Did You See the Worlds, Banshee Beat, Daffy Duck

I kind of point to this as the album where AnCo went to more of their current sound. Absolutely wonderful album.
Stand out tracks: Kids on Holiday, We Tigers, Mouth Wooed Her

Nowhere near as good as their newer albums. Kind of disappointing, really.
Stand out tracks: April & The Phantom, Chocolate Girl

I want to hate this album so much, but I can’t. If you don’t want to party a few tracks into the album you probably don’t have a pulse.
Stand out tracks: Party Hard, Ready To Die, I Get Wet

In the hierarchy of Andrew Bird albums I have in my library I’d say it goes Mysterious Production Of Eggs>Noble Beast>Armchair Apocrypha. The album’s pretty good, but it’s not mind-blowing.
Stand out tracks: Fitz and the Dizzyspells, Tenuousness, Anonanimal

Armchair Apocrypha feels a lot more polished and thought out than Andrew Bird & The Mysterious Production Of Eggs but somehow I don’t like it as much. It’s still a great album, I just can’t get into it as much as Andrew Bird & The Mysterious Production Of Eggs.
Stand out tracks: Plasticities, Dark Matter

This album always reminds me of the best parts of my last two years of high school. I’m probably the only one that feels this way about it but it has a very nostalgic feel to me.
Stand out tracks: Sovay, Fake Palindromes, Skin Is My

Basically Dawn Metropolis is a more polished version of Power Supply with a full band backing the NES.
Stand out tracks: Blackout City, Jetpack Blues Sunset Hues, Mermaid
